MISSIONAL ESSENTIALS DISCIPLESHIP STUDY

This is a 13 week study focusing on mobilizing the local church to embrace their God given purpose of building relationships with lost people and loving them to Christ. We have walked with church groups and individuals in Henderson, Nacogdoches, Meridian, San Angelo, Rock Port and Center. The Stepstones Board of Directors is presently working through the study as well. The Nacogdoches church has replicated the study with three more groups. There have been 93 people who have worked through the study this year. The church in San Angelo began reaching out to Korean Students and this last Sunday saw two follow Christ in believers Baptism.

VAN & HENDERSON TORNADO RELIEF

We worked eight days cutting trees off of houses and roadways. The crew of 21 cleared 1.5 miles of roadway and completed six work orders at houses and ministered to sixteen people along the way. The week following the Van Tornado a tornado hit Henderson. Several of those who helped us in Van were now the ones in need. A group of five worked one day clearing trees off houses and driveways for three families and ministered to 15 people.

GUATEMALA GROUP TRIPS

There were two group trips totaling 26 people. Four houses were built for widowed mothers and their children. There are now nine people living in a safe and dry home. We hosted a children’s ministry each day and averaged 43. We saw 8 men accept Christ at the drug & alcohol rehab center and prayed with numerous others.

HAITI GROUP TRIP

Three men traveled to host a four day Church Leadership Conference . We averaged 100 people from 24 churches. The highlight was when we presented the pastors and assistant pastors a new Haitian Study Bible. We also hosted a sports ministry in the evenings and saw three boys respond to Christ after sharing bible stories.

74 CHILDREN IN GUATEMALA RECEIVED EDUCATION SPONSORSHIPS
8 EDUCATORS WERE EMPLOYED AT THE SCHOOL IN DROUIN, HAITI.
350 CHILDREN ATTEND SCHOOL IN DROUIN, HAITI. THESE KIDS RECEIVE A HOT MEAL 5 DAYS PER WEEK
BEGAN ASSISTING A HAITIAN CHURCH TO START A JESUS FOCUSED YOUTH MINISTRY
BUILT GROW BEDS FOR COUNTY EXTENSION AGENT AS PART OF A LOCAL CHILDREN/YOUTH OUTREACH.
LED 41 LOCAL PEOPLE TO ASSIST WITH PROJECTS AT SHELBY COUNTY OUTREACH MINISTRIES. PROJECTS INCLUDED INSTALLING METAL SIDING, WALL BOARD & INSULATION AND SORTING CLOTHES.
LED 12 WEEK BIBLE STUDY OVER THE PASSION WEEK OF CHRIST FOR 6 COACHES.
LED AND COORDINATED PREGAME DEVOTIONALS FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM.
IN ALL WE HAVE LED ALMOST 200 OUT ON MISSION SERVICE AND MINISTERED TO AROUND 460 INDIVIDUALS.
